    Who am I?

I'm a values-based breakthrough coach, Board Certified Palliative Care Chaplain, and Health Equity Fellow at a Level-II trauma center. Every day I work from two vantage points: conversations with patients facing serious illness and end of life about what matters most, and frontline staff support where I watch high performers quietly lose themselves to systems that weren't built for human flourishing.

That combination, thousands of bedside conversations and years witnessing burnout up close, became the Deep Shift Method™. I built it for healthcare workers who are done performing and ready to get honest about what they actually value. Because clarity doesn't have to come from crisis.

    What's inside:

    • How the system uses your own language to replace your values, and four phrases of the phrases that do the most damage

    • Five questions drawn from thousands of conversations with patients and the staff who support them, each with a reflection prompt, and space to write

    • A framework for separating which values are actually yours from the ones the system put there

    • Robert's own story of walking away from an identity he'd spent years building, and what he found on the other side

    • A clear next step if you're ready to stop performing and start telling the truth about what you want
